LUCIENTE, INC., is a community-based charitable organization whose mission is to foster education, economic development and the arts within our service area in northern New Mexico, the Highway 84 corridor from Rio Chama northwest to Ghost Ranch, north along 554 to El Rito and west along 96 to Gallina.
Luciente was founded in 1996 by a group of seven extraordinary women who recognized the unique spirit of this region and brainstormed to create programs that would improve the lives of its residents. Their initial efforts resulted in the Abiquiu Public Library and the Abiquiu Recycling Program. We are committed to continuing their vision.
